Yaringa appoints a new GENERAL MANAGER

For the first time since Frank Gray retired in 2007 Yaringa once again has an overall General Manager at the helm. This appointment will provide a boost to staffing, operations and service to Yaringa members and other customers.

It will allow Stefan to take a step back from day to day management issues and focus on implementing broader plans for re-development and expansion. It fills the gap in administration left by Miranda who has now left us to travel and work overseas. It takes a big administrative load off Rob Kelly’s plate enabling him to focus on marina operations and maintenance of facilities & equipment in his new role as Yaringa Harbourmaster. And it will ease the pressures on Sheryl Smith as Office Manager.

Mr Stephen Snow (pictured) has taken up his new position after an exhaustive process of selection from a field of 150 written expressions of interest and applications.

Stephen, a former civil engineer and businessman, has impressive credentials as a successful General Manager and Managing Director and is passionate about boating.

A certified Coxswain, he has extensive boating knowledge and experience in handling fishing boats and yachts of all sizes.
