Changes from 1 July

Rec-Fish-Licence

From 1 July 2016 the price of recreational fishing licences will change.

The existing 2-day licence will be replaced by a 3-day licence. There are no changes to existing exemptions. Children under the age of 18 will still fish for free. The last increase in the price of a fishing licence was in 2008. All extra revenue will be placed in the Trust Account and used to fund projects that improve fishing opportunities across the state.

From 1 July 2016 the price of recreational fishing licences will change to:

3-day 28-day 1-year 3-years
Over the counter $10 $20 $35 $95
Online $10 $20 $33(plastic card) $90(plastic card)
